Magical wedding at Zonzo!

Since I had a meeting with the gorgeous bride Lara back in winter last year, I had been excited about this wedding the whole time. It was well worth the wait! The wedding was just magical, filled with lights and candles and abundant flowers and greenery throughout the whole wedding.

For bridal party flowers, we used seasonal pastel flowers, including David Austin roses, hyacinth, freesias, tuberose, dusty miller and lisianthus. Imagine the fragrance of these flowers..! Heaven!

Corsage

For ceremony, we custom made a burlap curtain for the barn with fairylights shining through the burlap. (Hard to see the lights from this photo, but it looked absolutely magical!) Babies breath decorated on both sides also looked very sweet and the whole setting just worked for the venue.

For each rows of chairs, we had small logs with jars of flowers and candles.
Logs and burlap curtains can be hired from us. :)

Now for the reception, we decorated the rafters with ivy, jasmine, fairy lights and garlands of glittery love hearts. How magical does this look!!

Tables were decorated with large clusters of jars with pastel flowers and tealight candles.
Which we used for the breakfast cerebration the next morning at Balgownie.
Ta-da!

The photos doesn't do justice for how beautiful everything looked but I hope they portrayed a little bit of magic anyway.

Congratulations to L&A!! It was such a pleasure to work on your flowers!!

Apricot, blue and white flowers at Immerse Winery

I thought it's an interesting colour combination when I first heard from the bride.
And it totally works!! How beautiful do these flowers look!

We used Sweet Juliet roses (David Austin), sea holly, snow berries, hydrangeas, dusty miller, and gum leaves. The combination of colours and texture was just right. I loved it :)

The wedding held at the beautiful Immerse in Dixons Creek. :)

Congratulations to S&S!!

Daisy wedding at Killara Estate

I've had the pleasure of working with the most comfortable and relaxed bride.
The wedding as at the beautiful Killara Estate, located just 20 minutes from Sugar Bee HQ.
The venue is just stunning with amazing view - it takes my breath away every time I go.

Flowers we used were daisies, daisies and daisies. How sweet does it look!!
We loved it, and it really matched the beautiful venue.

Congratulations to A&N. It was so beautiful to work with you.

Recent work

Hmm. February had been a busy month for me.
When I'm busy, and because I pour so much of my time, attention and effort into Sugar Bee, my mind start to wonder.

Wondering is what my brain does best I think.

And it's good and bad. I tend to over-think and over-analyze things.

To stop my brain from over-thinking, I've been playing with flowers. (not an order, but just making things for myself)

Which puts my brain to a rest. I usually don't over-think when I'm making flowers. I feel the flowers, not think them.

But making flowers adds to the busyness of my life and it's what I do for work so it kind of doesn't make sense....... Oh well. Life is probably not supposed to make clear sense anyway!
